Recently, “ISKCON”*-affiliated devotees launched a search engine, HareKrishnaSearch.com, ostensibly to provide followers with curated access to information about Krishna consciousness. While this effort might appear superficially noble to some, it reeks of condescension and intellectual infantilization. This initiative is a blatant attempt to micromanage the intellectual and spiritual lives of devotees, reflecting the long-standing deviations of “ISKCON’s” leadership from Srila Prabhupada’s original vision.
