Hi there! I’m Ajit Krishna Dasa, and welcome to my little corner of the internet. Here, I share my thoughts, writings, and musings on Krishna Consciousness, philosophy, and the occasional spicy debate. Whether you’re a devout theist, a curious seeker, or a staunch atheist, there’s something here to challenge your thinking—or at least spark a good conversation.
Let me start with what I’m passionate about: preserving the original teachings of Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON. His words are timeless treasures—meant to be understood, cherished, and shared as they are. That’s why I’m a firm believer in arsa-prayoga, the principle that the works of a self-realized spiritual master should remain unchanged. Unfortunately, since Prabhupada’s departure, there have been numerous revisions and edits to his books that I believe stray from his original intentions. I’ve made it my mission to call attention to this, as I feel that tampering with his teachings undermines their potency and authenticity. But I reserve that topic to my website arsaprayoga.com.
And while we’re on the subject, I don’t shy away from critiquing ISKCON when I see it falling short of Prabhupada’s vision. Whether it’s unauthorized changes to his books, questionable practices, or organizational drift, I think it’s essential to hold ISKCON accountable. My critiques don’t come from a place of bitterness—they come from a deep desire to see Prabhupada’s mission upheld in its purest form. I believe that honest dialogue and transparency are the only ways forward.
On the philosophical side, I have a lot to say about atheism. In short, I don’t think it works. Atheism struggles to explain the big stuff—truth, morality, knowledge, and even existence itself. Without God, there’s no solid foundation for universal truths or objective morality. It’s like trying to build a house without a foundation. On the other hand, Krishna Consciousness offers a coherent and beautiful way to understand the world, grounded in divine knowledge and practical wisdom.
But don’t worry, I’m not all serious all the time. When I’m not writing or debating, I’m connecting with like-minded devotees, or just enjoying the journey of Krishna Consciousness. Whether you’re here to explore, question, or learn more, I’m genuinely glad you stopped by.
Feel free to browse around and reach out if you’d like to connect or share your thoughts. Life’s too short not to have meaningful conversations!
Hare Krishna!
